The Falling City

Amid the desolation of a city in the throes of collapse, I perched atop the rooftop, my solitude echoing through the empty streets. In the sky, buses and trains hung precariously, as if caught mid-fall, alongside tiles and houses that had shattered and plummeted. Two colossal hands stretched out, clutching fragments of buildings in a desperate attempt to hold the disintegrating world together. All around me, petals fell like a gentle snow, signifying the departure of a chapter that encompassed my growth and evolution.
